Part five: Holiday fun!

We recently had a few opportunities to visi my family from Manchester and take a day trip to Blackpool. Now, Blackpool is interesting. I love going for one day of the year, when all the lights are up (the illuminations as it is known) and trams, horse and carriages, and all things exciting come out to play! However, how people go there for longer than that is someting I am yet to figure! the prices of everyhing is ridiculous. The beach is pretty much non existant, the food is expensive and not very nice and its full of people on hen/sag nights! BUT we did have a fun 5 hours there and Joshua LOVED the lights and had fun with Aunty Gina and uncle Michael, who spoilt im rotten on a variety of childrns rides, raes on the beach in the push chair and lots of attention. Nanna and Gandad also treated us all to a horse and carriage ride up and down the prom which he LOVED because he could sit and stare at all the lights as they went by! Here's a pic of him on an aeroplane ride that went up and down...pretty high too i might add but he was so distracted by the steering wheel that he didnt really care!
And here we are on the horse and carriage ride!
I also took Joshua to Cornwall for a few days...we missed Davey a lot but he ouldnt get time off work! So went with my faily and had some fun times. Joshua loves to be out and about and so the coast was perfect. He loves the beach, water, sand...anything natural and creative..whoop whoop!
So again he got lots of time with Aunty Gina and uncle michael and they played with him on the beach for ages building sandcastles, burying his hands and feet and playing cricket. Nanna and great auntie linda treated him to yummy foods, baby say in the evenings so i could hang out with my family and just spoilt him rotten.
Here he is with uncle Mike and Aunty Gina:
And here we are enjoying a good long walk on the cliffs. He was in his element just watching the sea hit the rocks!
