Too long...

Hello again...i just remembered that its been sooooo long since i did a blog...and when i looked it had actually been longer than i remembered. As a pre warning though I am soooo tired that this might not be the most exciting or interesting post you have read but hey, it'll fill you in on life so far!
Ok well in September we moved house :) We decided that with peanut coming living in a house that we didnt have to walk two flights of stairs to get too would be easier than living in the old place. However, it was hard to say goodbye-we lived in the last place for almost 4 years and we loved it and made so many good memories there. However, we were lucky in that we were able to have some friends of ours move into it right after us so now we go round weekly just to say hello :) (to the friends as well as the house)...its weird having someone else live there but nice that we can still remember things...anyway, thats boring news. The new house is lovely and it has the best fireplace and a garden which i love and most exciting, a washing line!! Now, i know that sounds sad but i actually love hanging washing up and was sooooo excited for my first load. It always smells soooo much nicer. anyway, its also a 3 bed place and so peanut has its own little nursery which is cute and big peanut (Davey) has his own big boy room which keeps him happy and i have a big kitchen and lounge and all things wonderful :) so needless to say, more memories will be made and we are even happier here.
Other news....I'm having a baby in like 11 days...thats scary isn't it. Like seriously 11 days is nothing. If its late the max is 24 days....and thats weirdly close too. However i'm hoping for an early arrival because im not sleeping well at all and i'd really like some energy left for when it
arrives.Heres the size of me at 38 and a half weeks....FATTY!
Yep, its weird....hidden away in there is our little bundle of (hopefully)joy :) Im quite ready for its arrival now...although im toying with the idea of being able to see New moon at the movies next fri and watching children in need....tricky?!?!?
With babies in mind, I have to fill you in on my suprise baby shower that was thrown for me. seriously, I never felt so special and so lucky and so spoilt...firneds here had been organising it secretly for months apparently and my family from Manchester came down and friends that lived a long way away came down. I was soooo excited....bit scary how so many people around you can be lying to you all at once and you don't even click on. However, I loved it so much and im so grateful. The night was planned with fun games such as name the famous baby, pass the parcel with some strange story telling theme, tasting a whole load of baby food and most gross than anything, eating melted chocolate bars out of nappies...which seriously is enough to make you gag1 Heres some pics of the fun...
Having a good sniff first off, before diving on in there!! I was totally spoilt, as was peanut with lots of clothes, baby products, nappies and lovely posh smelly stuff for me to relax with....which i have been making the most of :) But now I am totally ready...well with the things we need side of it anyway. I'm not sure i'll ever be ready to be a mummy but i guess its going to happen so might as well look forward to it :)
Another thing i want to touch on is Maternity leave...oh how I love it! Its been so nice to spend lots of time David, to go to bed a little later and arise whenever i feel like it, and nap when i want and eat when i want. We've been making the most out of the time together doing things like playing golf, playing chess in the garden, eating out (too much) , going to the movies at least once a week (orange weds are the best) and just relaxing with books. Im so excited for our family to grow and especially to see David as a daddy as i know that he will be fab....but like i say we're also making the most of the time we have left as just us....because Its amazing and I am so happy! Here's a pic of the chess in just part of our lovely big garden...
I tried finding some golf pics of Davey but they arn't on here yet....maybe one day if i find the time...
anyway, thats about it now, its nap time! Next time i'm on here there might be a baby...or else i might just be updating with random rubbish! hope your all well
Kx

Where's your shoe?! Are you STILL constantly loosing your shoes in the garden? Just like old times.
