Anyway, life is good. We are so happy...granted we (especially I) am soooo tired, exhausted maybe, but its totally worth it. At first I didnt think that but now Joshua is smiling and giggling and growing its turning out to be, as everyone says, worth the hassle :)
We chose to have Joshua blessed on Valentines day and it was lovely. The day of love and i certainly felt loved. Our little family was suported from all over. Friends visited from all over and we enjoyed a lovely weekend with family and friends and Joshua got to see his family from Manchester again, who just love him. Most importantly, David did an amazing job blessing him. He is such a good man and I can't help but love him, even when he flicks me, teases me and chases me...he and we are just perfect for each other. Here are a few pics of the blessing:
Our small but cute family :)
Both sides of our family and still small :)
The guests :)Well other things (and its brief bacasue as suspected Joshua has awoken)...
-Joshua now weighs 11llb2oz
-He loves to suck his hands and looks terribly cute whilst doing so :)
-The breast feeding is still going well....to those who I have spoken to about this, I'm not the biggest fan of it but i know its best for him and so we're working through it :) so far, so good.
-Joshua loves things he can hit that make a noise.
-He loves music of any kind but has shown a loving for The Beatles and Michael Jackson... ok maybe its just me that has a preference :)
-He has finally this week moved from newborn clothes and into 0-3 months...yes thats right, he is over the 3 month mark already bless his very little cotton socks.
Anyway, I'm loving him and having time with him. We have lots of fun going to random groups and classes and he has taken a loving to being massages...wahoo to baby massage classes. Definitely a fun time we have. Other fun things are the bath in which he will scream if he spends less than 15 minutes in an almost hot bath. Little weirdo.
Must go, the screaming has begun.
Final note and pic...we're trying to introduce a bottle so that we can have a little break...still breast milk but in a bottle. He's not a huge fan but its nice that David can now feed him. This is the first time David fed him...
Please note the earphones are what david uses to block out the terrible scream Joshua likes to use when David holds him, he is such a mummies boy :)
