February...WELCOME!!

Hello...well im in an updating mood and so i thought i would seize the moment!
Firstly, Davids birthday. It was his birthday 3 days after mine...he is my toy boy! We are 3 years and 3 days apart, making me the older and wiser one! Anyway we decided to do a raclette evening on the friday (the day after) which, if any of you havent heard of it its a cheese thing with potatoes and fresh veg, meats etc...and then you grill it all on a raclette grill...ok not a good description but google it for further details. We had some close friends and some of davids family here and we had an awesome time! It is so nice to be able to socialise as adults and have a good old fashioned laugh! we loved it a lot. Then on saturday david played golf with the boys...yes, for those who know David, getting him outside is always a task...lazy lump! But golf does it for him. Then we watched football with everyone at our place again and had another late night of giggles. Total fun!
So..the monday after, with both birthdays and christmas out of the way, i started weight watchers. Its all different than what it used to be and im actually loving it. I get 29 points a week and on my first week i lose 4llb..i was hoping more but seen as i can still eat whatever i want, its working for me! Just lots of point counting and food awareness happening. My aim this week is 3llb. However, it is our wedding anniversary this weekend and David and i booked a posh hotel in wales for the night...no Joshy...ARGH....and so i plan on eating and spoiling myself. BUT...there is a pool there so i also plan on swimming a lot to make extra points ha ha ha. We'll see huh!
Moving on, life is good! We are so blessed, theres no doubting that. I just wish i remembered it more often. Joshy is just awesome and he makes us laugh a lot. He is becoming a lot more vocal now...at last. Although im sure its only us that understands him. Is that normal? Who knows but he is stinking cute! I took him swimming today and was amazed that he lasted the best part of an hour in the pool. He loved it!
Anyway, enough waffle! Hope your all wonderful xx

Happy Birthday/anniversary/losing weight, that's all awesome! And yes, it is totally normal that no one understands your child's language but you. I'm the only one who can understand Amelia half the time and I think she speaks perfectly clearly.
