Happy Anniversary to us...

Well i think i mentioned in my last post that it was our wedding anniversary on the 4th february. Well, we decided that we would go away. We arranged with Davids mum to have Joshua on saturday night and we booked into a very posh hotel in Wales, in Cardiff. It was lovely. It had a huige roaring fire as we walked in along with huge and beautiful chandaliers...however you spell it... not mentioning the spas, saunaa, hot tubs, steam rooms and swimming pool as well as all the yummy food! And a bargain reduction which made it all the better :)
In the late afternoon we headed to see The kings speech at the movies. AMAZING! i loved it and was very moved by the story line. Then we headed to Waggamammas. We have never been there before. Although we thought the food and service was nice, we didnt think it was very romantic ...and so probably wouldnt go there again unless we werent on a date bla bla bla. Yummy food though! Then back to the hotel for all things luxurious and wonderful. It was so nice not to worry about Joshy although we both missed him like crazy and still woke up at the same time he would of had we been home. But that allowed us time for a lovely breakfast and naps and just chill out time. Then we headed out for lunch and a walk and altogether had the most wonderful weekend. Did i mention the chocolates and flowers...i was spoilt!
I am so grateful for my wonderful husband. We have shared many happy times in just 5 years....I am lucky to have an eternity with him! Im also very grateful for our wonderful son. Joshy is awesome. It was the forst time we left him with anyone over night and he was sooooo good and when he saw us coming hime he was so excited we could hear him giggling before we could see him. He melts us!
Anyway, here's to the next five years...and many many more!
