That seems to be all my son says at the moment1 Why...well because we havent done much else this week. I have been having lots of stomach pains due to havinf SPD...or whatever they call it...where your tummy muscles grow way too much and way too quickly. its painful to sit, stand or move around. thankfully not all at once, its just a case of balancing it all out. As a result, poor Joshy has had boring afternoons and evenings because thats when david works and im fit for... well, not very much!
So, as he once again watches Toy story, or once again plays with his cars and as i once again fed him rubbish food that requires the least amount of standing to prepare, i think of myself as a mother who really needs to get her act together. The poor boy is living of potatoe smiles or chips, fish fingers or chicken nougets or anything with rice (for him spanish chicken is the best). But as i assessed this, whilst we snuggled together and i recited toy story to him as it happened on set, i looked at him and felt this overpowering urge to cuddle him and squeeze him and love him. And he actually let me do this for a quci few seconds :) I realised that ya know what....so what! It wont last forever. Junk food wont kill him. Toy story is cool. ITs raining outside anyway. And im trying to do whats right and safest for the baby inside me as well as the one cuddles up on my knee.
So...for now, goodbye outside world, 5 fruit and veg, healthy options, fresh air (i'll open a window) and socialisation. We are ok... we are just resting up and living it out inside for thr winter :) And refusing to feel bad or like a bad mother!
I love my boy... my son and my husband that is!!
