A few things I want to remember.

Joshy is just so cute at the moment and I am loving every day we have with him! This week I have had a bit more energy and so we have done a few nice things. We went for a lunch date with David which was lovely. Joshy loves his daddy soooo much (as do I) and its cute that he now says 'Daddy' instead of 'Ada' :) Sometimes he even calls him Davey (or Wavey as he says it), usually after he has heard me shout him for something :)
We had fun doing some baking this week. Joishy learnt how to crack eggs by tapping them on the work top then squeeziung them to break them. He enjoyed it so much that he used a whole box :)
At the  moment we are trying to introduce numbers into his life. Yeah... he isnt really interested yet.  I have tried songs, building, stories, dances etc... the only number he likes is '3' and im convinved that that is because usually something fun happens on three like he jumps, or i tickle him or the tower falls down etc. So he counts, 3,3,3 for everything. Cute. and i dont want to push it. However, letters, he is like a little genius. Im suprised by how many (pretty much the whole alphabet) he knows and he loves mark making them and practicing reading them whevever we are. Super cute.
Another suoer cute thing is his humming. Im proud to say he is very musical and seems to have a strong interest and skill in rythem and tune. He can copy sounds, tunes, hymns etc pretty much spot on and is getting better at the rythm too. Im soooo glad becasue i love music and would love him to be the same. I find it interesting that as yet, Joshy is still quite behind in his speech but can hum a tune perfectly! However, the speech is coming along and its lovely to hear his cute little voice and be able to understand him a little better!
Tonight I took him to a firework display at bristol zoo,. Joshy is obsessed with the dark (i think i have mentioned that before) and so i was excited for him to see the lights without all the bangs scaring him- it was a bangkess display. As hoped, he totally loved it and named colours he saw and 'popped' and 'banged' when he saw fit :) However, it poured down and he especially looked like a little drowned rat. He even asked for his coat which is a miracle becasue he hates it and had already taken it off. Goes to show that children know when they need things though :)
So even though we were drenched we still had a fun time, topped off with a visit to daddies office and a KFC ha ha. Yeah, bad mother i know!
