OK so I'm like, super behind on blog posts but i have excuses i promise. Mainly I'm busy either with Joshy, Davey, cleaning, working, playing, pampering etc... or maybe I'm just being lazy! either way, i will try to update things here and now :)
Here is a 37 week bump shot.... to me, this photo does not give justice to the house i actually am! But here it is non the less as i don't have another picture! The pregnancy is going well. Im still working and plan on doing for another 2 weeks (39.5 weeks). People think its crazy but i like my job and it gives me a joshy break and we need the money! full stop! Its only two days a week so think what you will...
Davey gave Joshy his first driving lesson on Saturday! Its something David has always said he couldn't wait to do with Joshy... I, however, just thought,,...assumed... it would be about the age it was...well legal... ha ha NO!! David drove round the car park with Joshy shouting 'Left daddy, right daddy' and turning the wheel! They both loved it... and now Joshy expects it every time David is driving. Soooooo cute!
We have had lots of fun days to the zoo. One of our favorite recently was recently with some friends, Leah and Charlie. They loved it! Joshy loved meerkat spotting!
Joshy turned two at the end of November. We had a little cake party before heading off to soft play and pizza hut! Joshy had a fab day, as did i. He loves his little friends a lot so is always happy to be out with them. Add pizza to that and you've struck gold!
Over christmas, Joshy met Santa for the first time! He wasnt impressed and acted throughly distracted by the two raisins he had in his hand.. It was only when santa gave him a gift did he warm up to him. Cant blame him really! Im so glad both David and i were able to take him, it was lovely and he ended up loving it!
Bristol city had a fun day in December (on a rare warmish day too) and Joshy was thrilled to meet Scrumpy the Robin. Not as proud as David was when Joshy ran up and gave him a big hug! He LOVED the big bird... as well as bouncing on the bouncy castle with daddy! fun and free day out! lovely!
We spent some of Christmas day at Shirls house (davids mums) and... lucky for us (???) she had made us all Christmas tops! hmmmm... but here we are, sporting them and obviously popping out of them!! Mine was snug! was a fun day though, and the shirt stopped me spilling gravy onto my clothes :)
It was my birthday and Davids birthday last week! Being so fattily pregnant, i themed mine 'pamper' and he chose 'sport'. So on the saturday before we went with a whole group of friends to Wells which was lovely. We all did a pub lunch and a ramble by the castle moat and in some woods that we found. We got cookies and just had the whole day outside. All our boys (we all have baby boys funnily) LOVED the freedom for the 6 hours we were out! Then in the evening, I had a girlie night where we did all pampering...hair, nails,. feet. hands, faces....everything! i totally loved it and had the best birthday EVER i think. the celebration continued with my sister in law Gina and my amazing little niece coming to visit and we did another pamper day where we shopped and took the babies swimming and did lunch and i had a MAC makeover and treated myself. the we got our nails done and had hot chocolate. Follwed by board games when Davey got home from work. Then, as if that wasnt enough, i had a belated present from my friend Penny who took me for breakfat and then took me to pant pottery! i made a cute clock... we pick it up next week! I am truely blessed to have the best friends and family.... they all fell into the pamper theme well spoiling me with bath stuff, perfumes, money to pamper... everything a pregnant fatty could dream off! i love it!
On davids birthday he wanted to do golf in the morning with the boys so whilst he did that, the girls and babes mooched around Thornbury and then we all met up for lunch in a cheap carvery which was yummy! then he went to watch Bristol city in the afternoon which im glad to say, was a good match so he was happy! Then we ended it all with board games and make your own Chinese followed by copious amounts of krispy kreme dough-nuts courtesy of Dave and Penny!! Another wonderful day and another birthday done and dusted!!
So now all we do is wait!! Our bean is due to arrive in 14 days today1 we are not quite ready... we have drawers being delivered today and all kinds of washing etc to do! but we are excited! Joshy is finally coming round to the idea of mummy having a baby in her tummy and is now obsessed with every baby he sees, no matter where we are! but we are hoping it is a good thing!! So... the next post might have that news.... who knows... until then, have fun!
