Gratitude...and memories

I follow a blog about a family called the sullengers. I was touched by their story about 18 months back and have constantly thought about and prayed for them since. I have never met them but i love them because Ashley has taught me so much about myself and how i take my life for granted. If you want to look at her blog look here...

Anyway... last week she asked a question in her blog that has made me hold my boys, even the husband boy, a little tighter and has really helped me react differently to situations that usually i would have perhaps snapped in normally. She asked: 'Do you ever think bout what it would be like to walk away from a hispital without your baby?'
After losing our 2nd baby at 13 weeks pregnant, i have a very small and limited understanding of the hurt that this may bring. But when i look at my 2.5 year old and my 12 week old who i know and love and have made so many memories with already , i cannot comprehend how any parent can do this. For this reason i am learning to enjoy every moment, no matter what it is and what happens straight after. I m so grateful i get to be a mummy. Im grateful that i only work 2 days a week (although maternity leave is better right now). Im grateful David is a wonderful father who prioritises his children above work and money etc. We are so lucky that david has a job where he can spend more time than the average working father can with his children. We love our boys and will appreciate every day we have with them!
