Holidays...

Its the holidays...its half term break and its very exciting!!! This also brings about halloween which actually scares me a little but not enough to stop me doing our annual carving of pumpkins. Ok so this year i was really organised and bought them early as last year we left it a little late and ended up with pretty gross ones. However, these were clogging up my fridge for 10 days for no reason as the supermarkets were full of them this year and i could of had my pick of the crop! However, there are very small and lovely and about the right size for my wee body to hold :) So here they are, our pumpkins of 2008 :) YAY!!

Other than that, nothin much is happening. Ive taken an interest in (dare i say it) cross stitching recently (which sounds really easy and babyish but its not)...im also looking at making and blanket...however in order to do that i need a sewing machine...so, if anyine reads this can they please hint to my lovely yet sometimes not very bright husband as to what he can get me for christmas :)
The holidays have been fuin...its been nice being able to drive this time round. Ive been able to shop without davey peering over my shoulder saying 'are we done yet' every two minutes...ha ha, bless him, the things he does...or did as now he can cheerfully say 'here's my card, have fun honey'. Not that im complaining , treats are on him :)
Life is good, i love being married, i love my job, i love driving and i love life!!! yay for happiness and bring on christmas...and snow if anyine has any spare :)

I remember our Halloween pumpkin on the mish--I had to carve it on Mary Annettes's bathroom floor as we were trying quite hard to avoid contact with her, and she wasn't too pleased about the decorations my Mom sent me in my Halloween package. So glad to hear you're taking interest in this great spooky holiday!
