Centre Parcs!

Remember that let down after Christmas, when all the excitement has gone and you just need a holiday to get over the holiday season...well this year we did! We booked a holiday to Longleat centre parcs mid january and we totally loved it!

 As you can see, it snowed. A lot! it was great fun. It did however close the rapids one day and scare Joshy half to death but we got over it :) it was super cold but we still had such a great time.

 I think the snow finally stopped falling late wednesday.it was still piled high when we left on friday though.

 Whilst it was so cold outside, we took advantage of the indoor facilities. Joshys favourite was mini golf, tenpin bowling (mini ones) and badminton. He was a super good sport with everything and was in his element. Thankfully we had also gone with Davids mum shirley who was great looking after Sam. She was so kind and let us do whatever we wanted and babysat all the time. We wouldnt have had so much fun without her being there thats for sure.

 The boys loved being on the land train.Sam, who had his forst bout of real illness whilst we were there, settled instantly and loved just watching the world go by. Joshy just loves trains and so was in his element. We wrapped them up super warm. Like i say, it was freezing!

 The back pack allowed us to expolre much easier than a pram would have. Centre parcs is pretty steep without the snow so with it it made getting around hard. So we let joshy in the pram and carried fat sam:)

Our family love being together but hate photos. Getting David to smile on a picture is hard and he will only do it once, Pickle! :)
Whilst we were there we did a few dates in the evening. We ate some of the best curry I have ever had in an indian restaurant  We also went spanish and had tapas. and another night we swam and chucked ourselves down the rapids constantly. Was fun to have lots of time together whilst the boys were well looked after...and sleeping :)
Joshy was totally bemused by a squirrel which kept coming right up and knocking on our villa window. Sam thought it was weird and would just stare. All in all, we had so much fun and cant wait to be back there!
