Today we were meant to travel to Manchester but the boys and I haven't been well and it would appear that David is coming down with a similar thing. And so instead, we stayed home and I tried hard to keep the boys entertained without the tv. Here is what we got up to!
Both my boys are so opposite! Joshy hates being messy. When he is painting he doesnt like it when he gets a bit on his fingers or clothes etc. With Samuel, its total carnage! Today we had to bathe him right after painting as he was covered! But they both love it and especially love doing it together!
We have the smallest yard in this house. Its one of the things i hate about it. However, we try and use it. So i gave the boys chalks. Today joshy said he saw the sunshine and drew a picture of it. Its the first time he has drawn something that resembles what it is meant to be and i was super proud of him. I love it, what do you think?!
When does a child learnt to draw a sun with spider legs? we all do it im sure! but i love it and i wish i could have framed that moment where he knew it looked like the pictures he sees and we were all cheering together :)Priceless and totally worth staying home together for! Now i just need to think of more things to do in our yeard which literally takes me 1.5 steps to get across. Yes, its that small!
